Service Overview

Klavo Company, as a social economy entity (SEE), conducts ongoing service activities related to preparing employees for participation in the labour market. The activities of a social economy entity aim to fulfil an important social objective, the essence of which goes beyond the narrowly understood interests of the members of these organisations.

The National Programme for the Development of the Social Economy, in accordance with the 2002 Charter of Principles of the Social Economy (CEP–CMAF), defines a social economy entity as:

"Economic and social entities operating in all sectors. (...) These enterprises are particularly active in certain areas, such as (...) consumer issues, (...) supply, (...) education and training, and the area of culture (...)."

Klavo Company, characterised by its functional nature, bases its activities on inclusive social economics. It constitutes an element of broadly understood social policy in terms of employment and integration, by integrating people at risk of social exclusion into the local labour market and undertaking activities aimed at providing goods and services essential to local social policy.

In 2020, we conducted a review of our main goals and the services we offer, as well as an analysis of the needs of our clients and employees. The key conclusions highlighted the crucial role of the process of recruiting collaborators for cultural institution services and the specific profile of our employees – typically individuals seeking work, often their first job, in the cultural sector.

Over the years of our operation, we have become a trusted partner for cultural institutions, taking on increasingly large and responsible scopes of audience service. At the same time – in many cases – we represent the first place of employment for students and young graduates seeking work aligned with their education. Our primary role as an employer is to develop employee competencies and implement cooperation procedures with cultural institutions, which directly translates into employees gaining sector-specific experience. Taking into account the specifics of the services provided and our unique competencies in recruiting and managing teams of people entering the labour market, we decided to transform into a social economy entity. This reflects the actual role the company plays in the cultural labour market and allows us to carry out activities such as free training, the implementation of adaptation programmes for people seeking employment aligned with their education, and the development of specific competencies.
